The St Trinians band rocked out "Get to the beat". The theme tune reverberated around Liverpool Station as the entire school danced below.
When transferring the image to plate I included the ring binder on the sketchbook so that the final print keeps the reference to how the drawn image was captured. The pink used in this edition follows the St Trinians branding. See the film to see the scene or the photography I took. There are videos on utube that members of the public took if you do a search.
This etching captured the girls hanging out between takes next to the 'Upper Crust' sandwich shop. I thought this was rather funny as they were all dressed up as 'Posh Totty'!
This etching was created using 2 plates. One for the figures and one for the background elements that were manipulated using photography taken on the day of the signs in the station. See the photographs on the site to see the context of the prints and how they were inspired.
