West Wycombe chamber festival 2022
A range of drawings I captured live in two concerts at The West Wycombe Chamber festival in September 2022. I worked from two locations in the audience. The first drawings were of the whole group of players, my aim being to capture the cohesive nature of their musical expression as a group. The other drawings were focused on individual musicians. The motivation for the drawings is to translate the physical playing in to marks on the paper that express the feeling of the performance. This is not about mere representation.
