Landscape drawings

I drew this wonderful oak tree that sat in high contrast against the backdrop of the valley behind shieldid in mist as it was February and a clouds sat on the landscape. Some sheep milled around a muck heap. The village of Ilam sat just below me in the Peak District National Park. A day of soft greens and high contrast. I worked in charcoal on A2 farbriano paper.
